Claude says:Danger Mouse produced this one in a real studio — the first time they'd worked outside or brought in an outside hand — and Carney built two different kits to get both the Bonham thump and that dead '70s towel-on-drums sound. It debuted at 14, went gold in both countries, and landed on Rolling Stone's best-of-decade list. You picked it up three years after release in early 2011 and played it hard that winter, came back for a second run in mid-2012, then let it fade except for the occasional check-in on "So He Won't Break" and "I Got Mine."
