Claude says:The Beatles recorded Rubber Soul in London over four weeks in autumn 1965 — their first album made without concerts or films pulling them away — and the folk-rock leanings, the sitar and harmonium, and the shift toward the album as a complete artistic statement all reflect that focus. You had a couple of stray plays in 2009 and 2010, then nothing stuck until you came back to it properly in 2018, fifty-three years after release. "In My Life" and "Nowhere Man" are the songs that kept you listening, with a late surge in November 2024 that brought "Drive My Car" and "Girl" into the mix.
