Claude says:The third Beatles album and their first to consist entirely of Lennon-McCartney originals, released in July 1964 as the soundtrack to their first film. The title came from a Ringo malapropism, and the record includes that opening chord and songs like "Can't Buy Me Love" and "If I Fell" — all basic rock and roll instrumentation, but you can hear the songwriting starting to deepen. You picked it up in late 2009 and have kept the title track, "I Should Have Known Better," and "If I Fell" around through 2024.
