Claude says:Jimmy LaValle's solo work as The Album Leaf started with improvised Rhodes piano over a drum machine, and that mix of electronic texture and instrumental drift has been his signature since 1999. Intertwine carries that same mood — patient, ambient post-rock built on synth washes and sparse keys. You played it once when it came out this past August, and that was enough for now.
