Claude says:Jimmy LaValle's 1999 debut as The Album Leaf is all drifting instrumental post-rock — guitar loops, Rhodes, field recordings — minimal and hypnotic. You found it in late 2007, eight years after it came out, and cycled through it hard that October, then kept coming back in bursts through 2011. "Lounge Act" and "An Interview" were the anchors, but you played the whole first half most.
