Claude says:Sigur Rós released this fifth studio album in June 2008, intending to write in English before deciding Icelandic felt more natural — some lyrics got translated back, others rewritten entirely. It's their most playful record, trading ethereal drift for acoustic instruments, folk structures, and actual guitar melodies, with "All Alright" as their first proper English-language track. You picked it up in June 2012, circling back every year or two through July 2018 — "Festival" and "Gobbledigook" were frequently played, though "Inní mér syngur vitleysingur" and the title track held their own.
