Claude says:Brandon Curtis and Josh Garza brought Secret Machines back as a two-piece in 2020, two decades after they'd formed in Dallas and more than a decade after Benjamin Curtis left. The record is dream-hazed psych-rock with motorik patience, long builds, and the kind of weightless guitar shimmer they used to stretch out across their early Warner Brothers albums. You caught it a couple years late in fall 2022, played it hard for a month, then came back for one more concentrated week a year later before letting it drift.
