folk punkindie folk

Zac Little started Saintseneca in 2007, building a sound around Appalachian instruments — balalaika, dulcimer, bağlama — that still knows how to plug in and push. Highwalllow & Supermoon Songs is their fifth album, released in 2025, and it landed for you a full year later in July 2026 with songs like "Battery Lifer" and "Burnt Hand Hymn" that feel both ancient and restless. You played it heavily that month, caught in the band's strange balance of folk tradition and forward motion.
