Claude says:LaMontagne's seventh record came out in May 2018 and you grabbed it that same month, moving straight to "Such a Simple Thing" and the title track. It's a polished folk-pop effort that earned decent reviews and marked a return after years away from his earlier rawer sound. You gave it a good spin right at release, then barely touched it again until a brief 2022 revival — mostly a one-summer relationship that didn't stick the way his earlier work did.
