Claude says:Palace's debut is soft-focus indie folk that runs on murmured harmonies and finger-picked guitars, the whole thing recorded with the kind of warmth that makes even the sad songs feel like good company. You picked it up ten years after it came out and didn't waste any time — August hit and you were all in, working through the tracklist front to back, "Break The Silence" and "Blackheath" on repeat but really everything from "Family" to "Live Well" getting its moment.
