Claude says:Muse's seventh album came out in June 2015 as a concept record about a soldier's dehumanization, tracked in Vancouver with Mutt Lange and meant as a conscious retreat from the orchestral sprawl of their previous two records back to straightforward rock. You grabbed it right away that summer and rode it hard through 2016, leaning heaviest on "Reapers" and "Psycho." It keeps surfacing in bursts every year or two — a week in 2020, a few months in 2022, then a serious run through 2024 and 2025 — proof that its directness still works when you need it.
