Claude says:Mogwai's seventh album came out in February 2011, recorded in Glasgow while the band's members were scattered between Scotland, New York, and Berlin, writing over email. The title came from a Scottish teenager arguing with a shopkeeper who wouldn't sell him wine, and "You're Lionel Richie" was what Stuart Braithwaite said when he ran into the singer at an airport. You grabbed it that May and played it heavily that spring, then came back to it a few scattered times over the next few years before it fell away by late 2016.
