Claude says:Mogwai's fourth album moved deeper into electronics and synthesizers without losing the guitars and live drums at its core — released in 2003 on Matador, it marked a shift from their usual vocal setup, with Barry Burns and John Cummings singing wordless gibberish instead of Stuart Braithwaite. You came to it four years after release in 2007 and wore it hard through 2009, then picked it back up in scattered bursts over the next decade and a half. "I Know You Are But What Am I?" and "Hunted by a Freak" anchor the top of your most-played tracks.
