Claude says:Rich Costey returned to produce this upbeat, dancier follow-up to And the Glass Handed Kites, the band's first as a three-piece after bassist Johan Wohlert's departure — the absurdly long title is lifted from intermezzo "Hawaii Dream," which felt more redemptive than any short phrase they could find. You had a few scattered plays the year it came out, but it really clicked in August 2010, a year after release, and you've kept coming back ever since — especially those mid-album palace players and the twin Hawaii tracks that bookend the record's brightest stretch.
