Claude says:Mew came from Copenhagen in the mid-nineties and spent the 2000s refining what critics called "dreamy thunderstorm pop" — grand, emotionally complex indie rock with a prog streak and a knack for stadium-sized feeling. This 2018 live session with the Copenhagen Philharmonic turned their most ambitious moments orchestral, and you grabbed it the month it came out. "Comforting Sounds" and "Carry Me to Safety" got the most spins, but it was a brief, intense window — you lived with it hard in December 2018, then mostly moved on.
