Claude says:Metallica's 1999 San Francisco Symphony collaboration turned thrash anthems into orchestral spectacle, splitting opinion among purists but delivering some of the band's most dramatic live recordings. You grabbed it in early 2017 — eighteen years after it came out — and burned through it immediately that February, then mostly left it alone until a brief revisit in summer 2024. "No Leaf Clover" became the keeper, the new song they wrote specifically for the project, though you clearly loved hearing "Master of Puppets" and "Nothing Else Matters" blown out with strings.
