Chris Marigold and Michael Tognarelli — the London duo behind Blu Mar Ten, drum and bass producers who'd worked with Good Looking Records, Shogun Audio, and Hospital Records — released this downtempo album in 2003. The album leans away from the dance floor and into post-rock atmospheres, all bowed strings and wide-open space. It landed for you in late 2008 and carried through the following winter, with "a celebration" and "mother star sun" getting the most air.
