Claude says:Andy Othling builds everything himself — guitar, loops, field recordings, the occasional guest — out of Albuquerque, stacking ambient swells into something bigger than bedroom post-rock usually aims for. This one opens loud and stays expansive, dipping into quiet stretches before climbing back to driving beats and widescreen melodies. You found it two years after release and leaned hard into it that spring — "Working And Paying And Living And Dying," the ice-break track, the war and airfield variations — then came back once in 2016 before letting it go.
