Claude says:Kaoru Ishibashi is a Seattle-born violinist who studied at Cornell and Berklee before playing in Jupiter One and touring with of Montreal, then going solo. His 2012 debut loops violin and voice into bright, buoyant pop that floats on inventiveness rather than electronics. You found it in early 2026 — fourteen years after release — and played through both the polished album and its rough demo-arigato versions, especially "I Am the Antichrist to You" and "Manchester."
