Claude says:The Followill brothers and their cousin delivered this second album when they were still a raw Southern rock outfit, five years before you finally picked it up in late 2009 alongside the mainstream wave of "Sex on Fire." The guitars crackle with garage grit, Caleb's voice strains through bourbon and dust, and the whole thing splits the difference between Nashville dive bars and UK indie clubs. You burned through it hard that first fall, leaning on "The Bucket" and "King of the Rodeo," then came back a year later for another round before letting it sit quiet for over a decade.
