blues rockindie folkindie rockpoprock

Kaleo's an Icelandic blues rock outfit that formed in 2012 and built a following with heavy guitar riffs and a classic rock swagger. Surface Sounds leans into arena-sized blues rock with big drums and roaring choruses — "Backbone" and "I Want More" carry most of the weight. You gave it a quick look in late 2025 but never came back to it.
