Claude says:Leeds indie rockers who hit it big in the mid-2000s with singalong anthems like "Ruby" and "I Predict a Riot," the Kaiser Chiefs have stayed prolific through multiple lineup shifts and stylistic pivots. On the Run is brisk, arena-sized rock with punchy hooks and bright production — later album territory where the formula is confident but the surprises are sparse. A single spin in early 2014, and nothing stuck enough to warrant a second look.
