Claude says:French duo Gaspard Augé and Xavier de Rosnay first made noise with this 2003 Simian remix, made for a Paris college radio contest and released through Ed Banger after the track became an underground hit. It's a taut electro-house ripper with rock swagger baked in, the blueprint for the distorted disco-punk sound they'd blow up with on Cross a few years later. You caught it once in late 2021, nearly two decades after it first tore through clubs.
