Claude says:John Mark McMillan is a Charlotte-born singer-songwriter who built a loyal following through independent releases before landing with Integrity Music, best known for penning "How He Loves," a song covered widely across the Christian music scene. The Medicine is raw, earnest rock with enough grit to keep it from floating into pure worship territory — think acoustic-driven anthems and searching lyrics that hit hardest on "Reckoning Day" and "Skeleton Bones." You grabbed it two years after release in September 2010 and lived inside it hard for about sixteen months, then kept circling back through 2013 before it faded into rare rotation.
