Claude says:This Victoria band went the Radiohead route before Radiohead did — they put Bridges up for free download in 2006, letting fans pay what they wanted. Produced by 54-40's Neil Osborne, it's gauzy, atmospheric indie rock with dual vocals and west coast drift, guitars that shimmer and swell without ever quite breaking open. You picked it up five years after release in late 2010 and came back to it in waves — brief runs in 2011, 2015, 2016, then again in 2020 and 2023. "This Way" and "Killing Time" got the most replays, though you cycled through most of the record.
