Claude says:Jars of Clay came out of Greenville College in the '90s as a Christian alternative rock act that blended folk, acoustic, and R&B into something warmer than most CCM. Inland is a mellow, lived-in record — piano-driven, conversational, more about quiet doubt and late-night kitchen talks than stadium worship. You grabbed it the month it dropped in 2013 and wore it out that September, landing hard on "Left Undone" and "Pennsylvania," then let it fade to a few stray revisits years later.
