Claude says:Jónsi's first solo outing after years fronting Sigur Rós came out through XL Recordings in April 2010, pairing his signature falsetto with Nico Muhly's string arrangements and a more acoustic, wide-awake sound than the post-rock sprawl he's known for. You picked it up that August and ran with it hard through 2012, then kept circling back every year or two until a proper comeback arrived in late 2024 — "Go Do" and "Animal Arithmetic" still leading the rotation, but you've worked through most of the tracklist by now.
