Claude says:Incubus hit number two with the original Morning View in 2001, riding the alt-rock wave that followed Make Yourself's "Drive." This deluxe reissue landed twenty-three years later with demos and live cuts stitched around the album he already knew — spacious, groovy rock that leaned on turntablism and Boyd's humid California mysticism. He grabbed it in May 2024 and cycled through "11 am," "Aqueous Transmission," and "Are You In?" for a few weeks, revisiting a sound that felt like driving with the windows down in 2001, then let it go.
