Claude says:Howie Day, the Bangor-raised singer-songwriter who built his early career on relentless DIY touring and loop-pedal one-man-band theatrics, released this collection of demos and live recordings in 2003, the year after signing to Epic. You got into it six years later, in early 2009, just as he was winding down from years on the road and gearing up for new material — and you played it hard that spring, especially the live takes from NYC and the raw demo versions of songs that would evolve elsewhere. By late 2010 it had mostly faded out, though you came back for one stray play in 2011.
