Claude says:Hilmar Örn Hilmarsson spent the '80s in Iceland's post-punk underground — drumming in Þeyr, managing bands, dabbling in magic and philosophy — before becoming a film composer and eventually the chief goði of Iceland's neo-pagan Ásatrú Association. This soundtrack drifts between glacial drone, delicate piano, and hushed choral textures that feel more like slow-motion weather than narrative score. You played "Colours" once in January and haven't circled back yet.
