Claude says:Dan Boeckner and Alexei Perry's second album as Handsome Furs was recorded by Wolf Parade's Arlen Thompson and doubles as a travel diary from their time in Eastern Europe — the title lifts from the face-control policies at Russian nightclubs where bouncers screen patrons by looks alone. You gave it one listen in early 2026, spinning "All We Want, Baby, Is Everything" (the track that delayed the album's original release while they cleared a New Order reference with the band). Never really circled back after that first spin.
