Claude says:Greg Laswell's seventh studio album arrived in 2016 after a career spent turning heartbreak and introspection into quietly powerful indie rock. This one threads together piano-driven arrangements and restrained production — worn-in melancholy that never quite tips into wallowing. You caught it right on release in March 2016 and ran through it thoroughly that month, leaning hardest on the title track and "Lifetime Ago," before letting it drift into the back catalog.
