Claude says:Green River Ordinance is a Fort Worth rock band that made their name opening for bigger acts across Texas before landing a Virgin Records deal — this 2007 EP on indie label For Mona came right before that jump. It's melodic, earnest alternative rock in the Third Eye Blind/Fray lineage, built on big choruses and clean guitar hooks. You grabbed it the year it dropped and leaned into it hard through 2008, especially "Here We Are" and "Come On" (which later became their breakthrough single), then kept circling back every few years when the mood struck.
