Claude says:This Fort Worth rock band formed around 2003 and spent their early years opening for Flickerstick and touring with Collective Soul before signing to Virgin Records and landing Top 40 radio hits in 2009. The Beauty of Letting Go is their first full-length, released in 2005 on the indie label For Mona — earnest, guitar-driven rock with the sort of open-hearted melodies that made comparisons to Sister Hazel and The Fray inevitable once Out of My Hands dropped in 2009. You found it two years after release and played it heavily through late 2007 and into 2008, then came back to it this spring after nearly two decades away.
