Claude says:Green River Ordinance came out of Fort Worth with a major-label debut that hit the sweet spot between Third Eye Blind's hooks and The Fray's earnestness — polished pop-rock that sounded huge on TV placements and Adult Top 40. You grabbed it the month it dropped in early 2009 and spent the next year running through "Learning," "On Your Own," and "Come On" in heavy rotation. It became a chapter you'd revisit in scattered bursts — a week in 2015, another in 2020 — before a bigger swing through the catalog in late 2024, though none of those comebacks stuck the way that first year did.
