Claude says:Glen Hansard — the Dublin busker turned Frames frontman and Oscar winner — died in a motorcycle accident just weeks before this posthumous live session was released. The Funkhaus recordings strip his songs to raw voice and guitar, all bruised intimacy and hard-won grace. You picked it up right as it came out in August, playing the three versions back to back a handful of times before moving on.
