Claude says:The Tempe quartet broke through in '92 with New Miserable Experience, a jangle-pop record built on Doug Hopkins' bittersweet guitar hooks and songs about longing that radio couldn't resist. This compilation pulls together their big three — "Hey Jealousy," "Found Out About You," "Follow You Down" — the kind of songs that soundtracked a decade without demanding much beyond a good chorus. You gave it a quick spin back in 2009, probably chasing that FM-radio nostalgia, but it didn't stick around.
