Claude says:Eric Owyoung's Southern California indie project began releasing Advent EPs in 2008, pairing atmospheric rock arrangements with traditional carols and original Christmas material. This second volume leans into sweeping, reverb-soaked takes on "Joy to the World" and "Do You Hear What I Hear," with strings and layered vocals that sound more like Sigur Rós than church service. You found it the December it came out and returned nearly every year since, often in the final weeks of Advent when the mood calls for something sacred but not overly familiar.
