Claude says:Scott Hutchison tracked this breakup album with Peter Katis in Connecticut, calling the sessions "hard work" but crediting the producer for lifting Frightened Rabbit out of the indie rock basement into something more lush. Critics hailed it as one of the finest heartbreak records in years — Hutchison himself found it so intense he needed a month before he could listen back. You gave it a spin in late 2012, a few years after release, and circled back to "Keep Yourself Warm" and "Head Rolls Off" once or twice since, but it never quite stuck.
