Claude says:One of Sinatra's earliest Columbia collections, originally issued in 1948 as a set of four 78s with eight holiday standards — a mix of four pre-existing singles and four new recordings cut in 1947. The irony: the song that defines this album for you, "Let It Snow! Let It Snow! Let It Snow!", wasn't added until the 1957 12-inch reissue, recorded in 1950 and later dropped from some editions. It landed for you in December 2016 and has become a reliable December pull ever since — particularly 2018 and this past holiday season — with "Let It Snow!" getting the most returns, followed by the swing of "Santa Claus Is Comin' to Town" and the hymn-like "Adeste Fideles."
