Claude says:Yorkshire duo David Fendick and Johnny Hooker built this debut from layers of harmony and folk songcraft, channeling the classic sound of Neil Young and Simon & Garfunkel without simply copying it — recorded in a crypt outside Leeds where they had to pause when services started overhead. You grabbed it right when it came out in late 2013, then let it sit until 2016, but it's roared back this fall — "Let It Go" and "Brother" leading the way through what's become one of your heaviest rotations in years.
