Claude says:Written, recorded, and mixed in two weeks at Michael James's house in Austin after the band's van broke down on tour — they spent eight days in a stranger's attic waiting for a new transmission, flat broke, and wrote one song per day. You picked this up four years later in August 2009 and burned through it quickly, logging most of your plays by December before moving on. "Day One," "Day Two," and "Day Four" held your attention the longest, but the whole arc runs straight through to "Day Eight," their goodbye to the ordeal.
