Claude says:Explosions in the Sky came out of Austin in 1999 with three electric guitars, a drum kit, and a taste for what they call "cathartic mini-symphonies" — instrumental post-rock built on elaborately developed guitar work and emotional crescendos. You've only played this a handful of times since 2012, mostly sticking to "The Long Spring" when the mood for wide-open ambience strikes.
