Claude says:Explosions in the Sky's debut was basically a CD-R project in 2000 — just 300 copies on their own Sad Loud America label before Temporary Residence remastered and reissued it five years later. You came to it in early 2008, eight years after it first surfaced, and burned through it that spring and summer: "A Song for Our Fathers," "Magic Hours," the whole patient build. By 2010 it had mostly receded, though you circled back for a handful of plays through 2013.
