Claude says:Editors came up in Birmingham in the early 2000s, moving through a few names before landing on the one that stuck — they've put out seven albums since The Back Room made them Mercury Prize nominees in 2005. Their most recent album, EBM, came out in September 2022 and finds them leaning into a kind of tense, wired energy that still sounds unmistakably like them — guitars that shimmer and brood, Tom Smith's voice always right on the edge of something. You picked it up in mid-2026 and have been playing it consistently since.
