Claude says:Delirious? released this as their first full-length album in June 1997, after shifting from their earlier identity as "The Cutting Edge Band" — it hit No. 13 in the UK and leaned into a U2-influenced sound that critics noted. You came to it nearly a decade later in mid-2006, played through "King Or Cripple" and "August 30th" (the latter written about frontman Martin Smith's serious car crash in 1995), then left it mostly quiet until a brief September 2016 return when you worked through deeper cuts like "White Ribbon Day" and "Hands Of Kindness."
