Claude says:David Crowder Band was a modern worship outfit from Waco, Texas that started in the mid-'90s when frontman David Crowder launched a church for Baylor students who weren't going to services. This 2005 album reimagines their worship songs through ambient breaks, electro beats, and downtempo textures — less Sunday morning, more late-night headphone drift. You picked it up in 2006, a year after release, and it came back in waves over the next five years, busiest in late 2010 before trailing off in 2011.
