Claude says:DMB's third album arrived darker and more complex than what came before — Steve Lillywhite producing, Tim Reynolds guesting on every track, the Kronos Quartet lending strings, songs weaving in polyrhythms and Middle Eastern scales. Released in April '98, it knocked Titanic off the top of the Billboard 200 after 16 weeks. You played it a handful of times starting in 2006, most of those spins going to "Rapunzel" and "Crush," but it never stuck — just a few scattered listens over the years.
