Claude says:The band's third album was made in a rented Hollywood house with producers David Lowery and Dennis Herring, marking the point where multi-instrumentalist David Immerglück stepped up from session player to full member. Dave McKean's cover art came from a Neil Gaiman children's book, and "Hanginaround" went to number one on the adult alternative chart — though "Colorblind" became the quiet second life, landing in Cruel Intentions and resurfacing in 2014's Mommy. You had a couple stray plays as far back as 2012, but this didn't actually click until summer 2021, twenty-two years after release, when you started working through "Hanginaround," "Mrs. Potters Lullaby," and the rest with real attention.
