Claude says:The Berkeley band that broke through with "Mr. Jones" built a reputation on dynamic live performances where Adam Duritz's raw vocals and the band's sprawling arrangements could stretch out past studio constraints. This double album captures two different sides of that energy — an intimate Storytellers set and a full-band Chelsea Studios session — and you leaned into both versions of "Mr. Jones" along with "Angels of the Silences" and "Anna Begins." It took hold in October 2013, right as the album turned sixteen, and you played it hard for a few months before letting it drift into the archive.
